The new trailer for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s adaptation of the classic Vertigo comic Preacher has finally been unleashed upon the masses! And so far, we like what we see.
While we only get a glimpse of Tulip, Dominic Cooper immediately makes an impression as the serious, violence-prone Jesse Custer, and Joseph Gilgun’s teeny moment of Cassidy the Irish vampire fills us with hope. But. At least in the tiny bit we’re seeing tonight, there is no hint of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon‘s giant cosmological plot, and Jesse seems more like a troubled man with a dark past than a man possessed by Godlike powers…but still, this looks really exciting!
